Our Bed & Breakfast features both the original Carriage House and the master home built by Conrad Bohn during the height of the lumber industry in 1870. We are located in the center of historic Winona, Minnesota, nestled between the majestic bluffs and the mighty Mississippi River. Our 4 rooms are located in the carriage house and a hot, artisanal breakfast is served daily in the main house’s dining room. A 4-seasons room in the carriage house provides guests with a beautiful, cozy area for guests to watch tv or movies, drink coffee from the provided Keurig, play games, or read a book by the fire. There are also multiple outdoor sitting areas including a gazebo and fire table.
The Carriage House Bed & Breakfast is located directly across the street from Winona State University, less than 2 miles from The Minnesota Marine Art Museum, across the street from The Great River Shakespeare Festival, and a short walk to downtown where you’ll find Winona’s best restaurants, bars, and shopping.
Winona is an artsy, quirky, and active town that offers numerous hiking trails at Holzinger Lodge, biking along the Flyway Trail, and strolling around the beautiful Winona Lakes. Whether you are coming to play or relax, Winona offers it all.
