Hockey Season has started in Duluth

These crisp, cool fall months represent one of our favorite times to be in the Duluth area.  Vibrant shades of red, orange, yellow, and green are painting the hills, providing a sharp contrast against the steady blue backdrop of Lake Superior. Fall is an exquisite time to visit Duluth; take a hike or go mountain biking through the colorful woods, drive along the scenic North Shore, or spend some time on beautiful Lake Superior before the winter freeze arrives.  Though winter is still a little ways off, Hockey season is already upon us for the year.  If you’re looking for an exciting way to spend an evening in Duluth, come out and cheer on the Univesity of Minnesota Duluth’s Hockey team, the Bulldogs.  No matter how you spend your time in Duluth, The A.G. During the cold winter months, Duluth is actually considered to be the outdoor hockey capital of the world.  Though it’s a little too early to start talking about all of the exciting hockey opportunities that present themselves in Duluth each winter, it’s not too early to talk about hockey in general.  In fact, the University of Minnesota at Duluth’s team, the Bulldogs, have just started their season.  They’ve either won or tied their first 4 games, and are off to a great start.  If you’re in Duluth this fall or winter, we highly recommend you grab some tickets to one of their home games for a truly exhilarating night Minnesota style.  Here is a schedule of their home games through November:

• Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th against Notre Dame
• Saturday, October 22nd against the U.S. National Under-18 Team
• Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th against North Dakota
• Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12 against Western Michigan
• Friday, November 16 against Bemidji State
