The perennial gardens are in bloom, the hummingbird fledgings are just coming out, and Lucy is at ‘boy camp’. Everything is trying to carry on. The baby eagles are learning how to stretch their wings, and have been soaring, and chirping most everyday. I wish that I could speak ‘eagle’ to know what it is that they are chirping about…..I would write it down in my eagle diary and have it published so that you could all learn it too. Harry, or Harriet,(we have decided the sex yet), the blue heron, is a daily visitor on our dock. We think that there is a nest down river that has babies that are being fed, and our dock is a good fishing site! Who would have ever known that we would be providing breakfast for so many species………….including people!
When you are in the mood to feed your birding appetite with the many faces of nature that we have, Embracing Pines Bed & Breakfast [1]is the place to be. You may join them for breakfast on the deck, (be sure to wear bright colors if it is the hummers that you are inviting) and continue on after breakfast, or enjoy your liesurely cup of coffee or tea before breakfast……..We are here for you to have ‘A Place to Relax in the Woods’!
